Lockdown refurbishments!

Well we’ve finally come out of lockdown and it’s great to see customers back at the Barn Bar and our lodges fully booked for the May bank holiday weekend. We’ve been busy this spring and all of our one bedroom chalets have been completely stripped and refurbished from top to bottom.

New floors, soft furnishings, bathrooms and kitchens and doors for numbers 1-4 and a new hallway for Cruachan. With so many more two bedroom lodges we had to select those that really needed the most TLC and 17 and 18 have seen the most work. Several other lodges have had new carpets and we’ve a few more to do. Now that our booking system is open these may have to wait until this winter. With so many days lost both this year and last it was tempting to wait until Covid was a distant memory, but this is the west coast of Scotland and you can’t stand still otherwise you go backwards!

We hope our customers appreciate the effort and financial investment we’ve made during a difficult and challenging time. Our thanks to our loyal tradesmen for their time and effort.

Summer weeks are now almost fully booked but we’ve still plenty of space in June. If you’re a returning guest you can claim your 10% discount for a weekly booking during May and June and September onwards (excluding Xmas and Hogmanay) and if you’re booking for 2022 we’ve some special offers so do get in touch.
