And We’re Back!

All of Scotland will enter level 3 on 26th April when travel restrictions lift and we can welcome visitors from across the UK. Self-catering accommodation must follow the rules for indoor socialising for private dwellings so for the farmhouse we have a maximum number of 8 from 3 households even when we reach level 0 – which is planned for June.

The rules for the Barn Bar don’t quite align with the indoor socialising rules as the Barn is a public place so you can gather for a meal for 10 people from 4 households in level 0. No one yet knows how long we will be in level 0 or what happens after that but as soon as we know we will share the information.

In the meantime, please don’t book if you can’t meet the guidelines as our free flexible refund policy is for lock down – not for contravention of restrictions which as a guest you are required to meet.

If you are in any doubt about your booking and its legality then please get in touch and we will try to find a solution that will allow you to keep your booking without breaking the rules.

Unfortunately, breaking the rules would invalidate our insurance, expose us to a fine, risk our reputation and our livelihood and whilst we appreciate that your holiday is important it’s more important that we don’t break the law.
