Festive and Hogmanay Bookings – ho ho ho!
If you have not yet booked your festive break then don’t delay. The Barn Bar will open up its table bookings to non residents at the end of October and we can’t guarantee dinner without a reservation! Those regulars who have already reserved their ‘usual’ properties will have already received a copy of the Barn’s Hogmanay menu.
For those who have not made up their minds – here it is. And don’t forget we’ve live music from 9pm and a late license – with our usual pause for the bells, fireworks and midnight bonfire.
To reflect the greater demand for shorter breaks this year we’ve dropped our minimum stay over Hogmanay to just three nights. But remember, the longer you stay the cheaper the nightly rate so why not just take your time and enjoy Oban in winter.
And before I forget, Christmas is also available for bookings – with an enticing discount for those who want to combine their festive break with a Hogmanay stay. We’ve a new service on offer this Christmas from the Barn Bar. You can pre-order your Christmas Lunch as a festive carry out! Take all the hassle out of self-catering on the 25th and just pop up to pick up your beautifully presented and lovingly cooked turkey and all the trimmings without lifting a pan or wishing you’d brought your turkey baster! Contact Michael or Glen at the Barn bar and just let them know your lodge or booking number so they know where the festive feast is heading. I can’t promise they’ll don a white beard and red suit to deliver it but if you hear ‘ho ho ho’ outside your lodge door then you’re good to go – effort free Christmas lunch – that’s a proper present!
