Easter Egg Hunts
If you are staying at Cologin over Easter and you’ve kids in tow then we’ve a few activities that might help you keep your sanity and bring the whole family together over the long weekend! On Good Friday there’s the annual Easter Egg Hunt at nearby Arduaine Gardens – beautiful rhododendrons for the parents to admire and the famous Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt for youngsters! If you can spot the first signs of spring as you explore the gardens you could finish your adventure with a delicious chocolate treat.
So if you are ready to become a nature detective to follow bunny’s clues pop down to Arduaine Gardens on Friday 30th March – Monday 2nd April 2018 from 12 noon – 4pm. The Easter Trail costs £2, normal admission applies.
The Barn Bar will also be organising a FREE Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday for under 12s. Find a wee plastic egg and bring it back to the bar to swap for a chocolate version. Not sure if Mary will impose a limit – my guess is that our intrepid local children will know all the good hiding places and will no doubt be causing chaos with a massive sugar high! If you want to join in the hunt then just come to the Barn Bar from noon – once they’re gone, they’re gone so come early if you want to find the hidden eggs and claim your reward.
