The Barn is open Thursday to Monday for food and drink.

The Barn is at the rustic heart of Cologin and describing its unique ambience is not easy – suffice to say that once you’ve been you will return! Full of character – and characters! Once a cattle byre (that still retains some of the original features) the Barn has been a favourite with locals and visitors alike who come to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and great food.

With a focus on local, seasonal and homemade food the menu is in constant rotation to allow the team to provide the very best the area has to offer. For the latest menu please check out The Barn’s social media.

Winter hours may vary slightly* but the Barn is open all year:

Monday & Thursday – 12 noon to 2pm & 5pm to 10pm
Friday – 12 noon to 10pm (Last orders for dinner @8:30pm)

Saturday & Sunday (main season only) – 10am to 10pm (Last orders for breakfast @ 12 noon. Last orders for food @8:30pm) – check our socials for seasonal menus.

The Barn is closed Tuesday & Wednesday.

Main Season: is from April to October.

Festive season: We will update with details for 24/25 festive season later this year.

Highly recommended for food

The Barn serves a range of food and is delicious to eat. Very reasonably priced and so worth booking. There is a log burning stove inside and out in the conservatory. They start serving meals at midday and non residents are welcome.

Since I heard about "The Barn" some years ago, I have always spent a lovely Sunday afternoon there during my yearly holidays in Scotland. The place is unique: Delicious food and drink comes along with the sweet sound of the musicians who meet there completely relaxed on Sundays.
